How do you know when someone really loves you ?
Let's analyse three different cases :
Fell in love with a girl.
Made efforts, proposed her, convinced her, made her accept himself.
Since then, spent a lot of time together.
Chatted for hours.
Kissed.
Saw mutual dreams.
Made promises.
Stayed like two bodies and one soul.
Finally, parents started searching for a bride for him.
Case 1
The thought of telling his parents about that girl made him nervous and stressed.
He knew they won't accept and would just thrash him instead.
He gave up before even trying.
Broke up with her but she wasn't convinced.
Blocked her from everywhere.
Left her in the middle of nowhere.
Case 2
Built up courage and told his parents.
They abused him, threatened him and blackmailed him.
They didn't even think once about the innocent girl who was relying so much on their son.
But why would they think about her?
For them she is a nobody infact just a big threat to their image in society.
Their blackmailing weakened their son.
He broke up with her.
She kept crying and suffering but he, with a heavy heart blocked her from everywhere.
Case 3.
His parents threatened him and blackmailed him.
But he said just one thing-
“Mom, papa, I love you so much but I also can't betray the trust of a girl whom I love from heart. She looks upon me for everything, leaving her would bring a life long agony for her and for me as well, I leave the decision to you, if you care more about the society, you can throw me out of your life but I will keep loving you, if you care for me, accept my love”
He respected the love of his parents as well as the girl and gave them an option to make a decision.
He stood strong and firm for the girl he loved because he never considered an option of living without her.
This is love.
Answering this question-
The guy in case 3 was a true lover, rest were mere patients of infatuation, because in true love, you can't leave your lover no matter what!
You find ways to get your lover just like a river cut through hardest of rocks and intersects biggest of forests to reach the Ocean.
I get a lot of messages from innocent guys and girls who were left by their partner because of the first and second case.
I just tell them one thing-
Your partner was a victim of infatuation, they never loved you.
What's the use of crying for someone, who couldn't even take a stand for you?
They choked on the first ladder itself, how would they climb all the ladders of life holding your hands?
It is good for you in long interest that they left. (ran away)
It was an accident, it will take some time for recovery, just keep your hope alive.
The story has been written about a boy but stands equally true for a girl as well.
